It is brilliant to go with your mates or dad would highly recommend it to anyone who stays in Edinburgh or who is coming on holiday and if your a pool fan like me it's excellent (5/5)

I've been here a few times now. The staff are great, the facilities are excellent too. the only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 was due to the price of the drinks (not bad compared to the rest of the city, but not great compared to the borders where I hail from), and also the tables could do with a clean. If you play socially you wont't notice a difference, but anyone who takes their pool seriously can see they could do with a brush. Other than that, excellent. (4/5)

I think the New Yorker is the ideal place to play pool/snooker have a meal and a drink at the same time. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. If you are ever looking for something to do for a night out it is the perfect place. (5/5)

The management at the New yorker organised a pool tournament for our community club ENABLElink, nothing was too much trouble. The lads had a fabulous day out - the venue was sound and accessible, we are looking forward to coming back. (5/5)
