Initially I was impressed by the service received - polite and courteous office staff. Prior to the moving day GB Liners provided the necessary packaging etc. We did all the packaging apart from the main bed (even though it is part of the service offered by GB Liners) The only thing the removal men had to do was to dismantle and wrap the bed. They were so eager to get the job finished they decided to break down the frame at the yard (even though I objected) When the bed arrived at the new address it was damaged - it looked like it had been dragged along the ground and there were gouges in two of the panels also some of the screws were missing. GB Liners accepted responsibility and agreed to repair the bed. After numerous calls to GB Liners to enquire about the progress the bed was eventually returned after 4 weeks. The repair was good BUT the bed isn’t in the same condition as when it was collected. The damage was obvious and the removal men wrapped the bed knowing that they had damaged it. If they had been upfront and come clean about the damage I would have been of the opinion that mistakes happen – BUT to try and get away with it is appalling. So in summary started off great and went downhill – I would struggle to recommend GB Liners as a removal company in Edinburgh. (2/5)
