My cousins took me to Clarindas. Thank you. Loved eating their apple pie - best I've had anywhere. I had the nerve to ask for the recipe, but was rebuffed. So now I have to wait for my next visit to Edinburgh to savour it and feel wonderful. (5/5)

Clarinda's is fabulous. The food is all homemade. Scones, cakes, tarts and soups etc. Tiny place but worth the wait for a table. My daughter is a student at Edinburgh University and when we come to visit a trip to Clarinda's is a must. (5/5)

My sweetie and I stopped here on the recommendation of a lady who lived in Edinburgh for most of her life. My sweetie had a scone and tea, I had a toasted cheese and onion sannie. Food was good, atmosphere was good. A nice place to stop and take a break from your travels! (4/5)
