I asked Capital Cars to pick me up today. The driver was so nice and I am quite satisfied with his careful driving techinique and gentle attitude. I'll recommend this firm. (5/5)

We booked an 8-man taxi with Capital cars as we were travelling from our Hotel in Edinburgh to Paintball near Livingston. The booking process was quick & easy and the office staff were pleasant & helpfull. When the taxi picked us up things changed, we had another pick up, which was complained about as the driver didn't want to go down the road our friends were staying in, then as we got on the road the driver was asked several times if he could stop at a bank machine and a shop, he ignored us giving no indication he had heard us, then pulled up 10mins later at a bank with no shops nearby,despite us passing several better placed ones along the way. The driver then ignored further requests to stop at a shop, then when one of our passengers became annoyed with the way he refused to acknowledge if he had actually heard us or not, he pulled onto the side of the road and said we can just get out now if we like, had it not been an isolated place we would have done so & he would not have been paid a penny. To act like this when he was getting close to a £60 fare at a quiet time of day (we got a local taxi back for £45) is ridiculous, we were giving him business & he treated us like we were an inconvenience. On a plus note, the driver from Coatbridge cars on the return journey was a credit to his profession and I kept his card for any future trips. (2/5)

I recently got married at Dundas Castle, near Edinburgh. This Cab Company was excellent. They transported our guests from 23 Different Locations to our Dream Day. We were to be honest not expecting 23 cars to arrive for the wedding finishing as midnight. To be honest we were hoping they would be late as we were all having such a good time but no they all turned up as requested. Excellent Service (4/5)
