At 4.50 pm I was having trouble with my sight in one eye. I boarded a bus to this branch, the nearest optician to my home not knowing if it would still be open. I was warmly received and duly seen by an optician as soon as she was free. This necessitated the staff having to stay late on a Friday afternoon but at no time was I aware of any acrimony about this. My eyes were given a thorough examination and I was assured that I had a viscous detachment and that this would dissipate over the course of a few weeks which is happening. Many thanks. (5/5)
